No copyright extortion or shakedowns. No "bait and switch" tampered metadata on bait sites. No fear of surprise exorbitant demand letters.

Why Tree Pirate?

A few months ago, I received a strange letter that appeared to be from an attorney's office. At first, I thought it was a scammer trying to scare me into sending money (a lot of money) to avoid being sued over a picture I had been using on a website and a facebook page....

Trees In Particular

A tree is what started this whole thing. Actually, a photo of a tree. A demand letter, threats of law suits, aggrevation of hiring and dealing with attorneys, learning about how amazingly dysfunctional copyright law is and how it facilitates the shakedown business model.

But I digress...

Everything Else

Trees are great but there are other things that make great images. Landscapes, waterscapes, animals, pets all make interesting subjects....
